We hope to use our surgery website as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We will keep it current with any news, developments and details that are relevant to the practice and our patients.
As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you use the website as a useful resource with links to other reliable websites for health related information. If there is topical health information we will also add this to the website.

We have recently introduced the patient access system. Using Patient Access, you can view, book and cancel appointments from home, work or on the move – wherever you can connect to the internet. What’s more, because Patient Access is a 24 hour online service – you can do this in your own time, day or night. Please ask at reception how to register and for your individual pin code.
Friends and Family Test
The Department of Health has been using the Friends and Family test in Hospitals as a satisfaction measure for some time. This year General Practices have been asked to collect and publish information from their own patients for the first time. The Accessible Information Standard
The Accessible Information Standard (AIS) is a new NHS England information standard which must be implemented by all organisations that provide NHS or adult social care.
The AIS aims to ensure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensor loss receive information that they can access and understand, for example in large print, braille, professional communication support if they need it such as British Sign Language interpreter.
We want to get better at communicating with our patients. We want to make sure you can read and understand the information we send you. If you find it hard to read our letters or if you need someone to support you at appointments, please let us know.
We want to know if you need information in braille, large print or easy read.
We want to know if you need a British Sign Language interpreter or advocate.
We want to know if we can support you to lip-read or use a hearing aid or communication tool.
